From Fresno, California, Thou Yang received his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Fresno Pacific University and a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from The Conservatory of Music and Dance—University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is currently teaching Vocal Music in Kansas City and is in his third season with the Kansas City Chorale. He also performs with many ensembles such as The Saint Tikhon Choir, Missouri Choral Artists, and Choral Arts Northwest. He also works as a freelance voice-over artist, recording engineer, and audio-video consultant. Thou currently resides in the Kansas City, MO area with his wife Susan and five children, Alene, Mark, Jean, Corinne, and Joseph.
