Sarah Tannehill Anderson

Sarah Tannehill Anderson is a classically-trained professional singer who lives in Kansas City. She has sung on two Grammy-Award winning albums including the Kansas City Chorale’s Rachmaninoff: All-Night Vigil (2015), and is a featured soloist on the Chorale’s album Life and Breath (2012). Her solo work is also featured on Vieux Amis – Nouveaux Costumes, with the Midwest Chamber Ensemble (2019), Kansas City Chorale’s Artifacts: The Music of Michael McGlynn (2019), and Anthony Maglione’s The Trumpet Sounds (2017). 

Sarah performs yearly with prominent Kansas City ensembles, including Bach Aria Soloists, Kansas City Chamber Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony, Kansas City Ballet, and New Ear Ensemble. She is the founder of her own Happy Hour music series, The Society of Song.
